About Me
From a lack of confidence to a lifetime in martial arts, coaching, and helping others build strength, discipline, and self-belief.
This platform was built on one core belief:
Martial arts should give people structure, clarity, and confidence — not confusion.
Everything here is designed to help people train with purpose, whether they are complete beginners, experienced fighters, or instructors looking for structured ideas.
Why I Started Martial Arts
I started martial arts at the age of 17.
Growing up, I lacked confidence and structure due to my upbringing, and after running away from home as a teenager, I needed direction and discipline in my life. Martial arts became a way to rebuild self-belief, structure, and purpose when I needed it most.
Later, a serious stabbing incident reinforced a decision I had already made — I never wanted to feel weak or vulnerable again.
Martial arts gave me confidence, discipline, and a sense of direction, and in many ways helped shape the course of my life, quite possibly saving it.
What began as a personal journey grew into a lifelong commitment to training, coaching, and self-development. Today, my goal is simple: to pass on the structure, discipline, and confidence that martial arts gave me to others who may be struggling, lacking confidence, or feeling trapped in their environment.

Professional Training & Coaching Background
Alongside my martial arts training, I’ve worked as a personal trainer and former aerobics instructor, which gave me a strong foundation in:
• Strength and conditioning
• Fitness programming
• Injury awareness and long-term training longevity
This background has allowed me to coach athletes safely and effectively, supporting both performance and sustainability over long careers.
I’ve also had the privilege of training and coaching multiple world champions, helping athletes develop not just technical skill, but discipline, structure, and consistency.

Media & Industry Involvement
I am the Full Contact correspondent for FMA Magazine, the UK’s only current printed martial arts magazine sold in shops.
Through this role, I contribute insight and coverage on full contact competition and training, staying closely connected to the evolving martial arts landscape.
I am also a commentator for the World Kickboxing Organisation (WKO), providing commentary for martial arts mat sports and selected ring sport events.
This role allows me to stay closely connected to high-level competition, evolving rule sets, and technical trends within modern kickboxing.

Media & Television Appearances
I’ve also appeared on television on multiple occasions teaching kickboxing and discussing martial arts training.
In addition, I have been featured in local news coverage while seeking sponsorship for competition and development within the sport.
These appearances reflect the wider recognition of my experience and contribution to martial arts — both as a competitor and as a coach.
Why That Experience Matters Here
This platform isn’t built around ego or highlight reels.
It’s built around:
-
Safe progression
-
Structured training
-
Long-term development
-
Confidence built through consistency
Decades of training and coaching have taught me one thing:
most people don’t need more intensity — they need better structure.
That belief shapes everything on this platform.

My Background & Journey
I’ve spoken openly about my background in a video interview where I explain my upbringing and how martial arts changed my direction.
This platform isn’t about my past —
it’s about what martial arts can give others.
The lessons I learned through training shaped how I teach and how this platform is built:
clear structure, progressive training, and confidence developed through consistency.

This video explains my personal journey and the values behind this platform. Watching it is optional, but it gives insight into why this site exists.
